IGF1-DES: 1mg
Insulin like growth factorDescription
Igf1-des (des(1-3)igf-1) is a naturally occurring truncated variant of insulin-like growth factor 1, lacking the first three n-terminal amino acids. this structural difference makes it approximately 10 times more potent than standard igf-1 at binding igf-1 receptors, because the truncation reduces binding to igf binding proteins (igfbps) that normally regulate igf-1 availability. as a result, a greater proportion of igf1-des reaches free receptor sites. it shares igf-1's core mechanisms: stimulating protein synthesis, promoting satellite cell activation and muscle fiber hypertrophy, increasing glucose uptake in muscle tissue, and supporting fat metabolism. its faster receptor binding and reduced igfbp interference make it particularly relevant in research focused on local muscle tissue effects when administered intramuscularly near target sites. for research and educational purposes only.
