Eloralintide (LY3841136): 9mg
Weight managementDescription
Eloralintide (ly3841136) is a selective long-acting amylin receptor agonist designed for once-weekly subcutaneous administration. it activates human amylin 1 receptor (amy1r) more potently than the calcitonin receptor and is conjugated to a c20 fatty diacid for reversible albumin binding. in a phase 2 multicenter trial in adults with obesity or overweight without type 2 diabetes (nct06230523), weekly doses from 1 mg to 9 mg produced dose-dependent mean body-weight reductions at 48 weeks, with the highest fixed and escalation arms near −20% versus near-zero change on placebo (efficacy estimand). gastrointestinal adverse events were the most common tolerability signal, consistent with amylin-pathway agents. eli lilly has advanced the molecule into phase 3 obesity programs and is studying combinations with tirzepatide (eloratzp). eloralintide is not fda-approved. for research and educational purposes only. not fda-approved. consult a qualified healthcare professional.
