BT-11: 10mg

Immunity

Description

Bt-11 is a gut-restricted, orally bioavailable small molecule peptide ligand developed by landos biopharma that selectively activates the lancl2 (lanc like protein 2) signaling pathway in intestinal immune cells. bt-11 is specifically engineered for gut lumen restriction — it does not cross the intestinal epithelium and achieves no meaningful systemic absorption, making it a uniquely targeted gut immune modulator that avoids systemic side effects. lancl2 is a mammalian homologue of bacterial lanc enzymes that functions as a receptor for abscisic acid (aba), a plant hormone also produced in human immune cells. lancl2 activation drives immunoregulatory effects including increased il-10 production, reduced il-17 and tnf-alpha secretion, and promotion of t-regulatory cell function in the gut-associated lymphoid tissue (galt) — recalibrating the hyperactive mucosal immune responses driving ibd and crohn's disease. phase 2 clinical trials for crohn's disease demonstrated favorable safety, reduced fecal calprotectin (an inflammation marker), and symptom improvement. bt-11 addresses mucosal immune dysregulation while larazotide addresses tight junction structure — the two compounds are mechanistically complementary in gut healing research. pairs well with the full gut healing stack (larazotide + kpv + bpc-157 oral) for multi-mechanism gut barrier restoration. for research and educational purposes only.

Specifications

Amount in Vial 10mg (10 tablets x 1mg)
BAC Water n/a — oral tablets
Amount per Unit 1mg per tablet
Recommended Dose 1mg to 5mg (1 to 5 tablets)
Frequency Daily with meals
Injection Type Oral tablets
Timing Take with food for maximum gut lumen exposure and tolerability. Designed for gut-restricted delivery — engineered not to cross the epithelium. Phase 2 trials used 500mg and 1000mg doses (note: these clinical doses refer to the full capsule formulation including excipients; the active peptide component is the key variable).
